Admittedly, this is on the high end of what I usually pay for shoes or boots. You can tell by the workmanship these are a high-end shoe/boot and they are so comfortable. I wear my shoes for quite a few years, so I was willing to pay a little more for them. I work in an office and have to do quite a bit of walking, so when comfort and fashion can be combined, I feel like I have a winner.
