Definitely one of my favs from DC - Over the years I have gone through model after model of DCs...one for summer, one for winter, always wear them out internally before externally. But have always maintained their comfort. I waitress 8 hours a day in mine, long board in them after and they are insanely comfortable. Definitely one of my favorite models. Before they were broken in the side seams by the toe gave me blisters for about 4 whole days of wearing them but after they stretched they fit perfect and still do (=
Definitely not a good fit for running up and down trails, but almost despite that, these shoes were cushy and I'm hopeful that a speedy return for a larger size will make me a happy runner.
Declining product - I?ve had two earlier versions of this flip flop and loved them; but 270 lbs destroys them over a summer. This new version is poorly made and twists 45 degrees under my feet. Not sure where the problem lies be seems to be in the footbed design. The old ones were sturdy, flexible rubberlike plastic; these are flimsy foam-filled wafers. Not worth the money but only thing available in very large sizes.
Decent shoe, once broken in - First time Logohoo purchase. I like the look of this shoe, but comfort leaves a bit to be desired. Arch support isn't great and the back of the shoe rubbed the back of my foot until it was raw. After breaking in the back of the shoe, comfort was better. Also noticed a bit of the chemical or cleaning solution type of smell for the first few days of owning the shoe. This too has now gone away.
Dealing with plantar fasciitis - Shoe is serving me well after serious plantar fasciitis problem. Little heavy but not intolerably so.
