Both the WR1011 and WR817 were selected because of my wide flat feet with bunions and narrow heels, plus my current (painful!) plantar fasciitis (both heels). All my previous New Balance ran totally true to size, but I'm exchanging the WR1011 for a half size larger. Overall, I'm rating these an optimistic 4 stars, assuming that graduating from a 8.5 to a 9 is all that is needed for this Cinderella to find her magic slipper. If you find that for some reason the WR1011 does not work for you, I recommend the WR817; it was wonderful right out of the box.
