A little big - I received these in Carmen gold. They look almost cream colored online, but they have a metallic sheen. Very soft, comfortable leather, but my heel tended to slip out, almost a 1/4" gap behind my heel. I have other Clarks Artisan shoes in 8.5, they fit well. This one was too big.
